Dear Vampire,
I have three questions really, so here they all are. What is the attraction to blood in the first place? Color.. taste.. look... feel.. the source..? If they drink animal blood, at a long rate, do they get animal like qualities? And blood - best chilled or at room temperature?
Curious,
Quizzer

Dear Quizzer,
The attraction to blood has come from the beginning of humanity. Murderers often explain their fascination with how it looks, feels, and how they like to play with it. In Bram Stoker’s Dracula the main character of Dracula says that the ‘blood is the life’. Indeed the human body must have blood to function. It is part of our life force, for without it we would die. In the Christian religions Jesus shared his wine and said ‘this is my blood’ and passed it to be drunk. Sang HLVs (human living vampires) explain they physically crave blood. Blood will continue to be fantasizing to us, and we can only guess to the reasons, because to everyone it holds a different reason for liking it. As for vampires drinking blood, the Sang HLVs are able to survive by drinking animal blood, but insist human blood tastes better and has more prantic energy in it. They have reported no animalistic side effects when drinking animal blood. Theoretically there may be a difference in taste depending on the blood types as well. As for it being chilled or room temperature, when consuming it most prefer it hot or warm – and always fresh.

Dear Vampire,
I’m bisexual and I need to know what to do when certain members of my family seem to hate me for it and call me names and don't try to understand? And people at work find out and make comments behind my back? And I just don't know which way to turn.Signed with tears,
Frustrated

Dear Frustrated,
It’s sad that your friends and family have turned against you when you’ve told them your most intimate secrets and desires. However this is not your fault but their unwillingness to have an open mind and love you for who you are. Work colleges never need to know about your personal life, so it’s up to you if you tell them anything at all. You have to remember that work colleges won’t know you as well as your family does and there is a better chance that they won’t understand and will be over judgmental. Find friends and family that do accept you and spend your time with them in a more positive environment that won’t bring you down and frustrate you. Hold your head high and stay strong!

Dear Vampire,
Ok last night I let one of my good friends sleep over and we exchanged blood to each other but the thing I'm upset about is that when we both went to sleep I guess she decided that she was still thirsty so she cut my neck when I was asleep. When I woke up there was blood all over the pillow. I mean it's not a big deal I just think that it was wrong.
Sincerely,
Drained

Dear Drained,
When exchanging blood make sure that you both have been screened for any blood diseases such as HIV or Hepatitis. Past that warning, cutting someone as well as feeding from them without permission is a HUGE no-no. If she wanted more then she should have asked, and cutting anyone on the neck is also a no-no. Some major veins are located there and you could have easily bled to death. You should seriously consider your relationship with this friend since there are some serious boundaries this person has crossed.

Dear Vampire,
I don't know what to do about my boyfriend. You see, I think he’s seeing someone behind my back and (I know this may sound pathetic) but I haven't got the guts to say any thing what should I do?
Unsure,
Mistrusting

Dear Mistrusting,
You may be right about your boyfriend, or perhaps you aren't. It could be that there are other things in his life that have his mind busy and kept him away from you. The best thing to do is to talk to him about it. Communication is the foundation to a good relationship. If he explains to you why he's been busy or acting strangely then trust him, but if you find out proof that he's been doing otherwise...dump him. If you are too afraid to talk to him, then your relationship is already doomed.

Dear Vampire,
What’s the best way to sharpen my teeth?
Excited,
Fang

Dear Fang,
There is such a thing as having your teeth filed, but it’s not recommended because it weakens the teeth. You don’t want a tooth snapping mid bite do you? The best thing to do is to go to a Dentist that specializes in fang caps. These caps can be made permanent if you wish and as sharp as you’d like. Shop around for the best Dentist in your area that will do this for you. Not all will.
Dear Vampire,
Do you know any tricks to get blood out of clothing? Signed in blood,Dribbler

Dear Dribbler,
Accidents do happen and for whatever reason (I don’t want to ask what you were doing) you get blood in your clothing there is a simple age long technique to remove it. It’s MILK! Milk not only does your body good, but takes blood out of clothing! Simply soak the clothing item in milk until the blood soaks away. This is usually less than twenty-four hours. If the spot is still pinkish when you go back to check it use a mild soap and scrub it gently a bit between your fingers. It is best to do this while the blood is still fresh and has not dried. Dried blood is harder to remove and you may not be completely successful.
